I’ve been in a bit of a creative funk lately. Actually…that’s not particularly true. What’s been happening is that life is far more full than I would like at the moment. I love quiet time, down time, time to breathe and white space…any way you want to describe it, I love it. But I’ve had to spend a lot of time away from home lately, and away from my kids, who are my muses. And then miraculously, I had a day at home with them, just the three of us. Now I’m not a confident mother, I second guess much of what I do and how I act and the impact I have on my children, but I have a quiet pride in my ability to spark creative and independent play in them.
So I asked them a question, “what would you do if your dolls were sick?” And I retreated quietly to grab my camera and document the results.
This post I see just one in a circle of amazingly talented photographers. Next in the circle is Cindy Cavanagh, please click here to see what matters to her this month and don’t forget to go all the way around the circle!
