To truly understand the joy in these photos you have to understand a little of the story behind them. The years and years of heartbreak and loss, of unimaginable grief. Only then will you truly understand the miracle of these two little girls, sisters, the older one already enamoured with the little one (unless she’s done a poo, then she’s super quick to pronounce her stinky). There’s tiredness for sure, the bone-deep tiredness that comes from parenting a pre-schooler and a newborn, but also so much wonder and joy.
