There are gardens in my local area that feel like secret gardens. Behind a rather unassuming gate they unfold, built into the hillside, as a spectacular mix of formal and rambling. It was an absolute delight to explore these secret gardens with this family. So many places to stop and investigate as they bask in their final few days as a family of three.
